4.15 Fissaggio coperture e centralina - RAV540U
Rif. Fig. 20 - Posizionare le coperture 2-3 e la centralina 1. Utilizzando i fori esistenti come dime, forare con punta da 9 mm.(11/
32"), profondità 50 mm (2"). Fissare con tasselli in dotazione e rimontare il mobile sulla centralina.
4.16 Funzionamento del sollevatore
Illustrare al proprietario/operatore del sollevatore il funzionamento dello stesso e, utilizzando come guida il libretto ALI/SM07-
1"Lifting It Right”, passare in rassegna le procedure di sollevamento corrette e in condizioni di sicurezza.
4.17 Prova funzionale del sollevatore
SOLLEVAMENTO VEICOLO
1) Posizionare il veicolo nell'area di lavoro in modo tale che il baricentro dello stesso si trovi sulla linea che collega i punti centrali
delle pedane.
PER L’INDIVIDUAZIONE DEI PUNTI DI SOLLEVAMENTO CONSIGLIATI, FARE RIFERIMENTO AL MANUALE DI MANUTEN-
ZIONE DEL COSTRUTTORE DEL VEICOLO, ALLE CIRCOLARI TECNICHE, ALLA GUIDA “VEHICLE LIFTING POINTS GUIDE”
(GUIDA ALI/LP) O AD ALTRE PUBBLICAZIONI.
2) Posizionare i quattro tamponi per il sollevamento in modo tale che entrino contemporaneamente in contatto con il veicolo.
Nel corso delle operazioni di sollevamento il veicolo deve sempre rimanere in piano.
3) Alzare il sollevatore fino al distacco di tutte le quattro ruote da terra. Verificare la stabilità del veicolo provando a scuoterlo.
4) Assicurarsi che non vi sia alcuna interferenza con altri oggetti.
5) Sollevare il veicolo all’altezza di lavoro desiderata.
Per la rimozione o l’installazione di componenti pesanti, avvalersi sempre di adeguati supporti di sicurezza.
ABBASSAMENTO VEICOLO
1) Assicurarsi che nell’area sottostante il veicolo non vi siano attrezzi o persone.
2) Abbassare il veicolo fino a quando la pedana si arresta contro il basamento.
4.14 Fitting the ramp support - RAV540IU
Ref. Fig 19 - Place the supports 1-2 as shown in the figure, then fasten with the relative plugs (drill with bit Ø10 - 13/32").
4.15 Securing covers and control unit - RAV540U
Ref. Fig. 20 - Position the covers 2-3 and the control unit 1. Using the existing holes as templates, drill with a 9 mm (11/32") bit to
a depth of 50 mm (2"). Fasten with the plugs supplied and refit the unit on the control unit.
4.16 Operation of the lift
Demonstrate the operation of the lift to the owner/operator and review correct and safe lifting procedures using the ALI/SM07-1
"Lifting It Right" booklet as a guide.
4.17 Operational test of lift
LIFTING A VEHICLE
1) Position the vehicle in the service bay so that the vehicle’s center of gravity is on the line connecting the longitudinal centers
of the lift pad superstructures (footboards).
REFER TO THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS SERVICE MANUAL, TECHNICAL BULLETINS, “VEHICLE LIFTING POINTS
GUIDE” (ALI/LP-GUIDE) OR OTHER PUBLICATIONS TO LOCATE THE RECOMMENDED LIFTING POINTS.
2) Place the four lifting pads so all four pads contact the vehicle simultaneously.
The vehicle should remain level during lifting.
3) Raise the lift until all four wheels are off the ground. Test the stability of the vehicle by attempting to rock the vehicle.
4) Inspect to ensure no interference with any other objects.
5) Raise the vehicle to the desired working height.
Always use safety stands when removing or installing heavy components.
LOWERING A VEHICLE
1) Insure that the area under the vehicle is clear of personnel and tools.
2) Lower the vehicle until the footboard stop against the base plate.
