  If you cannot achieve the target rate, it may be because you are driving too fast for the vehicle's capabilities, the calibration numbers are incorrect, or the speed calibration is incorrect. Reduce vehicle speed, or configure the vehicle to supply a higher amount of product. Check and adjust meter calibration, density, and other calibration numbers. Check and adjust speed calibration setting.

Why is product coverage displayed in zero rate zones on my Raven Viper Pro Control Systems?

  If product coverage is displayed in zero rate zones, it could be due to vibration chatter in the encoder, or the valve or motor is not set to close completely. Make sure that the encoder is firmly mounted and increase the value in “Zero Rate Tolerance.” Adjust the valve or motor to close or stop completely with no rate applied.

  Gaps in the coverage map can be caused by section widths not being set correctly, or the guidance and total section width not being the same. Check section widths and center values. Set the guidance width and total section width to the same value.

  If the rate sensor failure alarm is activated when enabling a product in automatic control mode, it could be because the Min PW value is too low. Refer to the PWM Control Valve Tuning section on page 236 for information on using the PWM calibration assistance or automatic calibration features and properly adjust the Min PW value for the control system.

Why is there product spread in zero rate zones with Raven Control Systems?

  Product spread in zero rate zones can be caused by bed creep, using the wrong valve type on the vehicle, or having an incorrect valve setting. Adjust the hydraulic valve to stop the bed creep. You must use either a Fast Close or PWM Close valve. Check the valve or PWM setting.

  If the product function keys do not work, it could be because it is not a CAN system or the product application is turned off. Product function keys work only in a CAN system. Switch product application to either auto or manual mode.

Why won't CAN System AccuBoom turn on in my Raven Viper Pro?

  If the CAN System AccuBoom will not turn on, it is because the boom switches are in the 'Off' position. Boom switches for CAN AccuBoom must be in the 'On' position.

  If the serial console AccuBoom controlled boom sections will not turn off, it is because the boom switches on the console are in the 'On' position. Boom switches for parallel AccuBoom systems must be in the 'Off' position.
