What to do if my Raymarine RAY63 wired handset will not power up?
    • R
      Rachel CoxAug 25, 2025
If your Raymarine Radio wired handset isn't powering up, here’s what you can check: * The handset might not be turned on. The wired handset receives power from the base station, so press the power button on top of the handset to turn it on. * There may be a software mismatch between the base station and the handset. Ensure that the handset and base station are both running compatible software. * There could be poor, damaged, or insecure cables or connections. Check that the base station radio is correctly powered. With the handset turned on, try flexing the cable near the connectors to see if this causes the handset to reboot or lose power; if so, replace the cable. Also, ensure cable connections are secure, clean, and free from corrosion, replacing them if necessary.
