How to reduce the fan noise on the Razer Blade while gaming
Under normal circumstances, it is normal to hear a small audible noise as fans spin to keep the system
cool. This is more noticeable during heavy gaming, where increased loads push the fans to spin faster
to cool the device – leading to a much more pronounced noise. This noise is regarded as normal and
should not distract you from enjoying your favorite game.
However, if you are experiencing an unusual amount of fan noise, do the following:

1. Ensure that you have updated to the latest version of Windows. To do that, click the Start button,
go to “Settings” > “Update & Security” > “Windows Update”, then select “Check for Updates”.

2. Update your graphics drivers. Depending on the model of your device, you may have either or
both Intel and NVIDIA graphics drivers installed. Consult your product manual for more
information.
3. Keep the Blade’s air vents clean and clear from obstructions. It is generally recommended that
laptops should rest on solid flat surfaces to maximize airflow along the vents.
