MOVE UNIT MANUALLY
See Figure 11.
Bypass the transaxles to move the unit with
the
engine off.
IMPORTANT: There is one transaxle bypass lever
on each side of unit. Ensure that both levers are fully
in front or rear position.
1. Stop engine. Remove key and wait for
moving parts to stop and for hot parts to
cool.
2. Pull both transaxle bypass levers out into
bypass position. (See Figure 11.)

3. Release parking brake and push unit to
desired location.
4. Engage parking brake.
5. Return transaxle bypass levers to operating
position. (See Figure 12.)

TRANSPORT UNIT
1. Pull deck lift handle completely forward to
engage transport lock.
2. Move unit to transport vehicle.
3. Stop engine, engage parking brake, remove
key from ignition and turn fuel
valve to off
position.
4. Secure mower frame to transport vehicle.
NOTICE: NEVER secure unit to vehicle from
rods or linkages that could be damaged.
RELEASE TRANSPORT LOCK
1. Pull deck lift handle forward and lift
transport
lock release lever.
2. Slowly return mower lift handle to resting
position.
MOWING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
When mowing, the best position is at
the top of the slope looking downward
at the machine.
Certain situations may require the oper-
ator to be at the bottom of the slope.
If it is necessary for the operator to be at the bottom
of the slope, the operator and any observers must
never be directly downslope from the mower in case
the mower were to slide or roll over.
