SELECTED OUT Jacks-provide
fixed-level audio/video output
from whatever is displayed on
the TV. Let you feed signals to
another device such as a VCR or
second monitor.

outputs. If you connect a device
to the EIA MULTIPORT
connector, do not use this set of
jacks.

So VIDEO Connector-provides
for direct S-VHS Video
connection from S-VHS VCR or
Camcorder. Remember to also
connect the S-VHS VCR's or
Camcorder's audio jack(s) to the
TV's INPUT 1 LEFT and/or (_)
R/MONO audio jacks.

Note: If you connect an S-VHS
VCR or Camcorder to the
S-VIDEO connector, you do not
have to connect anything to the
INPUT 1 VIDEO jack. If you
do, however, the S-VIDEO signal
will automatically override the
INPUT 1 VIDEO signal. (_

Multiple Antenna Inputs-provide
two separate 75-ohm RF antenna
inputs (ANTENNA A and
ANTENNA B) addressable by
remote control. Allow simple
connection and switching among
TV reception, video game, pay-
TV decoder, etc. Information
about using the jack labeled TO
CABLE DECODER is on
page 5.
EIA MUL TIPOR T Connector-is
a "universal interface" that may
be used in the future to connect
a variety of video and audio
accessories. The connector
conforms to industry standards
and may enable you to use the
new technology when it is
introduced.
SPEAKERS Switch-lets you
turn off TV's internal speakers so
that sound will instead come
through speakers connected to
EXTERNAL SPEAKERS
terminals.
Note: Be sure to return switch to
INTERNAL position after
disconnecting external speakers,
or TV sound will not be heard.
EXTERNAL SPEAKERS
Terminals-permit direct
connection of auxiliary speakers.
Note: Speaker impedance must
be 8 ohms or greater.
