Things to remember while preparing the ADCP.
• Use the Deployment Checklist to verify that the ADCP is
ready for the deployment.
• Test the ADCP using BBTalk. Some tests will fail if the
ADCP is not placed in water while the tests are being run.
• Desiccant lasts a year at specified WorkHorse deployment
depths and temperatures. Remember that desiccant rapidly
absorbs moisture from normal room air. Replace the desic-
cant whenever the WorkHorse housing or end-cap is re-
moved.
• Verify the compass calibration.
