Why does my REDCAT Motorized Toy Car NiMH battery not last long?
    • T
      tammywardSep 12, 2025
If the NiMH battery on your REDCAT Motorized Toy Car doesn't last as long as expected, there are a few potential reasons. First, ensure that the ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) is correctly set to NiMH battery mode. If it's set to LiPo, it can affect performance. You can consult the ESC Guide to make this adjustment. Second, the battery might not be fully charged. Use an appropriate NiMH charger to fully charge it. Finally, the battery itself might not be holding a charge, in which case, fully charge it using a suitable charger.

Why is the RED LED flashing rapidly on my REDCAT Motorized Toy Car ESC?
    • P
      patrick01Sep 16, 2025
If, after powering on the ESC of your REDCAT Motorized Toy Car, the Red LED flashes rapidly after detecting LiPo cells, the ESC may not be detecting a throttle signal. Check if the throttle wire is plugged in reversely or in the wrong channel, and ensure the transmitter is turned on. Another possibility is that the neutral throttle value stored on your ESC differs from the value stored on the transmitter. In this case, re-calibrate the throttle range after releasing the throttle trigger to the neutral position.
