The electromechanical safety thermostat in the unit has been tripped. The cooling system is switched
on. Turn off the alarm, according to the type of unit, by manually resetting the thermostat in the elec-
trical section and by pressing the “Alarm Reset” key.
Note: As long as the thermostat is activated, the temperature of the fluid at the time the thermostat
trips remains indicated in the display to the left. This value can be utilized for checking or adjusting the
trip temperature of the thermostat.
22
The programmed limit value S¯
¯ (see Section 11.1, Fig. 2) has been exceeded at sensor Sn1 (fluid
temperature) or Sn2 (consumer temperature).
Cooling is switched on.
Note: S¯
¯ is factory set according to the type of unit and corresponds to the maximum adjustable set
value.
23
Insufficient heat transfer fluid in the unit. Heat transfer fluid has to be refilled manually or automatically
(possible only when operating with water).
After the alarm is tripped, the unit continues to run according to the programmed refilling time set at
the factory (only with units operating with water) and switches off only if the required level of heat
transfer fluid has not been reached within this time. Pump and heating remain switched off until the
nominal level has been regained (protection against running dry).
The refilling time is limited to 30 s and the number of fillings limited to 3 per hour, in order to reduce
the consequences of a leak (e.g. broken hose). If the refilling time of 30 s is insufficient, the “Alarm
Reset” display will flash. Further refilling is then possible only by pressing the “Alarm Reset” key. The
“Alarm Reset” is activated by the interface using protocol 1.
Type P140S: programming of the refillings see “dtL”, “n.LE” Section 7.6.
