3.2 Installation and connection
The following must be done before you install and connect the iSense:
• Adjust the boiler so that it can be connected to an OpenTherm thermostat.
• Turn off the boiler.
Consult the boiler documentation for this process.
Do this as follows:
1. Open the housing by pulling the front and the base plate apart.
2. Attach the base plate of the controller to the wall using the
screws and plugs supplied. Ensure that the boiler’s connecting
wires are protruding through the hole in the base plate.
3. Connect the thermostat to the boiler OpenTherm connection
and the controller OT connection. OpenTherm is polarity
insensitive; you may therefore swap the wires.
