IMPORTANT USAGE
GUIDELINES
Failure to follow the handling and operating instructions in the use and care manual
will void the warranty.
Dropping or handling the Induction Cooker roughly will damage the electrical
components and the ceramic plate. Handle with care.
Do not place or store heavy objects (8 kg/18 lb) on the ceramic glass plate.
Be sure to avoid exposing the Induction Cooker to excessive moisture; never immerse
it in water, overll utensils, or pour liquids onto it. Clean up spills immediately and
allow the Induction Cooker to dry completely before using.
Do not use outside in a wet environment.
Do not block the cool air intake on the underside of the Induction Cooker or the warm
air exhaust at the back. Allow at least 10 cm (4”) clearance for proper ventilation. e
screens covering the intake and exhaust areas should be cleaned frequently to prevent
the build-up of dirt or grease which can cause the Induction Cooker to overheat.
Plug the electrical cord into a wall outlet. Do not plug anything else into the same
outlet. Use of a surge protector is recommended because power uctuations can
damage the Induction Cooker.
Do not press buttons using sharp objects or ngernails.
Never leave an empty utensil unattended. Overheating and damage may occur.
e Induction Cooker will beep several times and turn o automatically if the power
is turned on when there is no utensil on it, if a utensil is used that is unsuitable for
induction cooking, or if a smaller utensil is not properly centered.
If you remove the utensil from the Induction Cooker for more than a few seconds, the
Induction Cooker will beep several times and turn o automatically.
Aer turning o the Induction Cooker, the internal cooling fan may continue to run
for several moments before automatically shutting down.
Do not touch the ceramic glass plate immediately aer cooking as it may be hot from
residual heat from the utensil. e unit will display an “H” when the ceramic glass is
too hot to touch.
Before cooking with your Induction Cooker, read all operating Instructions, and then
take a few minutes to practice using the settings. You can start by boiling some water in
a covered utensil. Try adjusting the power levels, as well as using the warming and timed
cooking functions.
OPERATING YOUR
INDUCTION COOKER
1. Place the Induction Cooker on a at, even surface, allowing at least 10 cm (4”)
clearance for proper ventilation, and plug it into a wall outlet. e Induction
Cooker will beep once to indicate it is in standby mode.
2. Center a cooking utensil on the ceramic glass plate. Note: An improperly
centered utensil can cause excessive power load on the internal components.
3. Press the ON/OFF button once. e Induction Cooker will beep and the
“Level” and “Warm” lights in the LED display will ash for 10 seconds to cue
you to select the power level.
4. While the lights are still ashing, press the LEVEL selector button. e
Induction Cooker will automatically start on Level 8. Press the UP (+) button
or the DOWN (-) button to adjust the power level. Your selected power level
will show in the LED display.
5. To turn o the Induction Cooker, press the ON/OFF button again and the
power level light in the display will go out to indicate the Induction Cooker is
o. If the surface temperature of the ceramic glass plate is above 50°C (122°F),
the LED display will show “H.
1. For most preheating, you should use a medium- high power level (8-9).
2. Preheating will occur quickly so be sure to watch the utensil carefully.
3. e utensil will be preheated properly when a few water droplets “dance” when
dropped into the utensil.
4. Lower the power level if water droplets dry up immediately.
