INSTRUMENT PANEL: warning lights (continued)
The presence and operation of the warning and indicator lights described below DEPEND ON THE EQUIPMENT AND THE
COUNTRY.

STOP light
It switches off a few seconds
after the ignition is switched on, if it does
not light up, consult your RENAULT
dealer. It may light up at the same time
as other warning lights, together with
a beep. It indicates that it is essential
to stop immediately (as soon as traffic
conditions allow). Contact a RENAULT
Dealer.

Seat belt reminder light
If the driver’s seat belt is not
fastened the light remains lit when the
vehicle is started, then when the car
reaches a speed of approximately
6 mph (10 km/h), it flashes and a beep
sounds for approximately 2 minutes.

Passenger air bags OFF in-
dicator light
It lights up when the ignition is switched
on and goes out after a few seconds,
except if the passenger air bag is de-
activated (refer to the information on
“Deactivating the front passenger air
bags” in Section 1).

Direction indicator tell-tale
light

SERVICE warning light
This lights up when the igni-
tion is switched on and goes out after a
few seconds. It may come on with other
warning lights on the instrument panel.
If it comes on when the vehicle is
being driven, it is advisable to visit your
Renault Dealer as soon as possible.
