INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Install the batteries.
2. Press the On/Off switch on the bottom of the Wee
Sight to turn the unit ON.
3. Place the Wee Sight on a flat surface or hold in
your hand, then place the patient’s hand, palm down,
over the top of the Wee Sight and LED.
NOTE: To improve vein location and view, tighten the
skin by draping the patient’s fingers over the Wee
Sight.
4. Dim the room lights for better illumination.
5. Insert the IV catheter, then turn the Wee Sight OFF
by pressing the On/Off switch.
WARNING
LED radiation. DO NOT stare into beam. Class 2 LED product.
CAUTIONS
Do not submerge the Wee Sight into liquids.
Do not place liquids near the device.
Do not mix battery types. For replacement, use only AA alkaline batteries.
Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
NOTES
Discard device upon failure of an LED and/or the On/Off switch.
Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations.
Clean the Wee Sight in accordance with the standard hospital protocol for
cleaning.
Replace batteries upon degradation of the device functionality.
Batteries are the only serviceable parts. Children’s Medical Ventures
recommends replacing both batteries at the same time.
