  If the pilot light in your Reznor Furnace ignites, but the main valve refuses to open, here's what you can check: * Make sure the manual valve is fully open. * If 24 volts is measured at the valve connections and the valve remains closed, replace the defective valve. * Inspect all wiring connections, and tighten any loose connections. * Ensure the flame sensor lead isn't grounded, and the insulation or ceramic isn't cracked; replace as needed. * Set the supply pressure at 5" w.c. to 8" w.c. for natural gas and 11" w.c. for propane if the gas pressure is incorrect. * Replace the sensor if the ceramic is cracked. * If all checks indicate no other cause, replace the faulty ignition controller.
