MAINTENANCE
GEARBOX
The gearbox should be full (18 ounces) .54 liters
and not require additional lubricant unless the box
is cracked or a seal is leaking. It is recommended
that the 1/8" oil level check plug (Figure Mnt-R-
0091) be removed to check oil level after every 8
hours of operation. If required, oil should be added
until it runs out hole..
Recommended lubricant is NLGI 000 Grease,
Servis-Rhino P/N 00765444. The gearbox has a
one quart capacity.
NOTE: Make sure mower is level when checking oil
in the gearbox.
NOTE: Overfilling of Gearbox will cause pressure
to build up and cause Grease Seals to leak.
