Shooting
The camera has the following shooting modes. From the
settings menu, select the movie or still image shooting mode for
the scene that you are shooting.
See "Shooting mode settings" (p.29) for how to set up the
shooting mode.

Still Image
You can shoot still images.

You can shoot still images
underwater while using the
supplied underwater lens

Burst Shooting
You can shoot still images
continuously while the shutter

Movie
Movie
You can shoot movies. Sound
can also be recorded
simultaneously. (p.19)
Underwater Movie
You can shoot underwater
movies while using the supplied
underwater lens protector (O-
LP1632). Sound can also be
recorded simultaneously. (p.19)
Time-Lapse
Movie
You can shoot movies at 30, 60,
or 150 times the speed. (p.19)
Extended Movie
Recording
You can shoot movies
continuously, while movie files
are created for each set
recording time, until stopped
manually. (p.20)
High Speed Movie
You can shoot movies of high
frame rate (120 fps) and play
them back in slow motion.
Sound can also be recorded
simultaneously. (p.20)
