    • M
      Miranda PittmanJul 28, 2025
Your Ricoh Digital Camera might not be turning on due to several reasons: the battery may not be installed, so check if a battery is installed and install it if needed; the battery might be installed incorrectly, in which case you should check the orientation and reinsert it according to the + and - symbols in the battery compartment; or the battery could be exhausted, requiring you to charge it.

What to do if the shutter will not release on Ricoh Digital Camera?
    • A
      Andrew BennettAug 1, 2025
If the shutter on your Ricoh Digital Camera won't release, it could be due to a few reasons. The flash might be charging, and pictures cannot be taken while this is happening, so wait until charging is finished. Alternatively, there might be no available space on the SD Memory Card or in the built-in memory; insert an SD Memory Card with available space or delete unwanted images. Also, the camera could be in the process of recording, so wait until recording is finished.

How to fix subject not in focus on Ricoh Digital Camera?
    • J
      James StewartAug 9, 2025
If the subject is not in focus on your Ricoh Digital Camera, it could be because the subject is difficult to focus on with autofocus. Try locking the focus on an object the same distance away as the subject (by pressing and holding the shutter release button halfway), then aim the camera at your subject and press the shutter release button fully. Alternatively, the subject might not be in the focusing area; locate the desired subject in the focus frame (focusing area) in the center of the display. If it is difficult to do so, first lock the focus on the desired subject (by pressing and holding the shutter release button halfway), and then move the camera to recompose.

How to improve display visibility on Ricoh WG-60 Digital Camera?
    • J
      Joseph MedinaAug 14, 2025
If the display is hard to see on your Ricoh Digital Camera, it could be due to the brightness level being set too dark; adjust the brightness level in [Brightness Level] in the [W Setting] menu. Another reason could be that the Power Saving function is on; when this function is active, the display automatically darkens after a certain amount of time. Press a button to return to the normal brightness level or select [Off] in [Power Saving] in the [W Setting] menu to turn the Power Saving function off.
