2-112 DG1000Z User’s Guide
To Install the Option
DG1000Z provides a 16M internal memory option to extend the memory depth of the
arbitrary waveforms. If you have ordered this option (the order number is
Arb16M-DG1000Z), you can obtain the corresponding key. You can install the option
following the steps below.
1. Acquire the license of the option
Log in the RIGOL official website. Click SERVICE Software License
Register to enter the license generation interface.
Input the correct key, serial number (press Utility System Info to
acquire the serial number of the instrument) and verification code and click
Generate to acquire the option license.
2. Install the option
You can install the option via the following 2 methods.
1) Install the option by reading the option installation file in the USB storage
device.
The content and format requirements of the option installation file are as
follows.
The filename suffix must be “.lic”.
The file content requirements:
The first line: instrument serial number (press Utility System Info
to acquire the serial number of the instrument);
The second line: the option license;
The third line: a blank line (cannot be omitted).
Note: When inputing the option license acquire in step 1 into the
option installation file, the hyphens should be omitted.
