Annual cleaning of the oxygen depletion sensor is recommended by Rinnai or their agent.
The outer case should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth; avoid aerosol polishes.
Turns heater off if room oxygen level falls below a pre-set level.
Cuts off gas supply if the flame goes out during operation.
Two speed settings and OFF position to choose best conditions for comfort.

Undo straps, lift carton off heater. Check for damage and contact supplier if necessary.

Comply with local regulations, ensure correct room size and ventilation, maintain clearances.
Connect gas and plug into a power point. Ensure room is ventilated.
Press front control button firmly to ignite. Check burner has lit and hold button for ~15 seconds.
