  If your Rinnai Heater won't ignite, first ensure it's properly plugged in and switched on at the power point. A power cut or failure could also be the reason; investigate the cause and allow the unit to cool before attempting to re-ignite it once the power is restored. If it is a new installation, air in the gas pipe may be the issue, which requires purging by a qualified installer. Also, make sure you are pushing the ignition button firmly. For air in the hose, try the ignition again. Finally, check that the gas is turned on at the meter.
