Installing Your Firey
Place the Wheel at least 2” (50mm) away from the front of your shoes or from the
front edge of your footrest, whichever extends farthest.
Sit in your wheelchair in a comfortable position, with your back at against the
backrest. Keeping the Wheel in place, lift the Handlebar until there is at least 2”
(50mm) of clearance between the Handlebar and your thigh.

Position the Handlebar
If the Handlebar is too close, push it away until it lines up with your forearm.
If you can’t get the Handlebar in a comfortable position, loosen the Top Tube
Clamp and slide the Top Tube further into or out of the Steering Tube. Re-tighten
the Top Tube Clamp to a tightness of 8ft-lbs. (10.8Nm). This is approximately a
force of 16lb at 6” away from the screw (70N at 15cm away).
