Lay it loosely along the perimeter as you walk along the lawn
edge. If you get to any area/object that needs special care,
make sure you carefully lay the Perimeter Wire as described in
the following sections.
Start unwinding the wire counter-clockwise around the lawn,
starting at the Base Station’s location.

A. Make a Good Start
Before you begin, walk along the edge
of your lawn and plan how to set up the
Perimeter Wire. Take
note of all obstacles
and slopes.
Pull out approx. 30 cm (1 ft) of wire through the hole in the
spool’s plastic covering and peg the beginning of the wire to the
ground where you intend to install your Base Station.
