Collision with moving parts Contact with moving parts may bend the probes or
damage other components. If the system detects a
collision, an alarm is raised, stopping the operation
immediately.
r Keep all covers and doors closed and in place during
operation.
r Do not touch any parts of the analyzer except those
parts specified. Keep away from moving parts during
operation.
Contact with analyzer parts Contact with analyzer parts may bend the probes or
damage other components.

r When you load samples, reagents, or detergents, do
not touch any parts of the analyzer except those parts

Incorrect use of sample containers Use of sample containers of the wrong specification may
damage the sample probes or others parts of the
analyzer.
r Load sample containers of the correct specification on
racks.
r Specify rack ranges for sample types. Load sample
containers and types in the correct rack ranges.
r Only use sample tube types on CTS racks that are
configured on the system.
r Load sample tube types in the correct rack ranges.
Damage to the analyzer or consumables from
organic solvents
Organic solvents may cause damage to the analyzer and
consumables.
r Do not use organic solvents, other than isopropyl
alcohol or ethanol, for performing system checks or
maintenance.
Damage to the analyzer due to mechanical
stress
Shock, vibration, or pressure can damage the analyzer.
r Keep sources of vibration away from the analyzer.
r Do not place objects on the system.
