2. The entry delay times set the periods of time permitted between the first violation of any delayed zone and the
system/partition disarming. Once the system/partition is armed, first violation of the delayed zones will start the
appropriate entry-delay timer, giving to the user enough time to enter the premise and to disarm the system totally or
partially. The user must disarm the system/partition before the appropriate entry-delay timer elapses or the system will
generate an alarm. If a delayed zone triggers the alarm, the system/partition will switch to an instant working mode which
will be signaled by a fast blinking of the corresponding ARMED LED (the alarm was once triggered by a delayed zone and all
the zones usually of delayed type will respond as instant type in the respective partition).
3. For the entry delay 1 and 2 timers any value from 000 to 999 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the
introduced value by modulo 256 and will record the result in memory as programmed value. If the result of
adjustment is 0 (the entry delay is set at 0), then the zone which is usually of delayed type will respond as instant type and
will trigger the alarm once it is violated. So, when any user enters the protected area through the delayed zone to disarm
the system/partition, unexpected alarms will be triggered by this zone!
SECTION [38] - EXIT DELAY 1 / EXIT DELAY 2 TIMERS
While system is being within “main programming menu”, to set the exit delay 1 and 2 timers, you
should select section [38] and then enter 2 groups of 3 digits each (001 to 255 seconds).
The following sequence will be introduced:
|__|__|__||__|__|__| |060||060| by default
The default exit delay times are both 60 seconds.
After the first 3 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after the last 3 digits it will sound 6
beeps; the panel exits the section and will wait for a new command to enter another section.
Press [#] key instead of the 3 corresponding digits if modifying of any timing is no longer desired.
To exit the “main programming menu”, press [#] key.
After entering the required arming sequence (i.e. any valid user code entering), the exit delay
parameters determine the amount of times a user has to leave the protected area before the panel
arms the partition (or the entire system).
Example: If the “exit delay 1” is to be set to 20 sec. and the “exit delay 2” is to be unchanged, enter: |020||#|. After the first 3
digits the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after [#] key, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel
exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the “main programming menu”, press [#] key gain.
Notes:
1. For the exit delay timers any value from 000 to 999 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the introduced
value by modulo 256 and will record the result in memory as programmed value. If the result of adjustment is 0,
then the appropriate “exit time” is 0 and after any valid user code entering for system/partition arming may cause
unexpected alarms!
2. Each exit delay time applies to all zones in the selected partition as follows:
- If partitions were allowed by programming in [20] section, then the “exit delay 1” applies to all zones in the first
partition and the “exit delay 2” applies to all zones in the second partition;
- If partitions were not allowed by programming in [20] section, then the “exit delay 1” applies to all zones in the
system and the “exit delay 2” will be no longer considerate by the panel.
SECTION [39] – BURGLARY / FIRE SIREN TIMERS
These timings (“burglary siren timer” and “fire siren timer”) establish “siren activation timings” in case
of any “fire alarms” and audible “burglary alarms” respectively will occur in the system.
While the system is being within “main programming menu”, to set the burglary/fire siren timers,
select section [39] and enter 2 groups of 2 digits each (01 to 99 minutes for each timer).
The following sequence will be introduced:
|__|__||__|__| |04||15| by default
After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after the next 2 digits, the keypad
buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to
enter another section.
To exit the “main programming menu”, press [#] key.
Example 1: One may want to program the “burglary siren timer” at 3 minutes, without modifying the “fire siren timer”. In this
case enter |03||#|. After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after [#] key, the keypad buzzer will sound
6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the “main
programming menu”, press [#] key.
Example 2: One may want to program the “burglary siren timer” at 2 minutes and the “fire siren timer” at 10 minutes. In this
case enter |02||10|. After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after the next 2 digits, the keypad buzzer
will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the
“main programming menu”, press [#] key.
