Do you have a question about the Rogers yale and is the answer not in the manual?
Door should have two holes for deadbolt and handle; Mortise doors and all-in-one handle locks are not compatible.
Ensure enough clearance space above and below bore holes so installation is not obstructed.
Standard door sizes 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" are compatible. 1 3/8" to 1 1/4" require thin door gasket.
Check for proper alignment by ensuring door unlocks and locks smoothly with existing set-up.
Loosen screw holding battery cover, slide it up and out, then remove the inside mounting plate.
Ensure gasket on inside mounting plate is properly fitted, noting positioning of rubber nubs.
The outside touchscreen side remains assembled.
Two latch options: Standard for doors with notch, Drive-in for doors with only bore hole.
Insert deadbolt with up arrow upwards. Ensure it is retracted (unlocked) before securing with screws.
Install strike on door frame, ensuring bolt is centered. Secure with screws.
Install outside touchscreen side first, routing wire harness through bore hole under bolt.
Position inside mounting plate flush to door, routing wire harness and inserting tongue into groove.
Secure both assemblies with machine screws, ensuring vertical alignment. Do not over tighten.
Attach cable assembly connector to inside PC board by aligning notches and pressing firmly.
Position and bend cable against recessed area, hooking under cable hook to prevent binding.
Install inside latch side onto mounting plate, ensuring tailpiece is horizontal and latch is vertical.
Install and secure latch part into mounting plate with screws. Test mechanical operation.
Insert four AA batteries, install battery cover, tighten screw, and activate lock.
