The patches presented
in
this section present
both
quick
access to
useful
sounds from
your SH-09
and a
way
to study
specific applications of the
principles
and techniques
discussed earlier. An
approach
to setting up
your own patches
is
given
at
the
end of this
section,
and blank
patch sheets
are
supplied
for
you
to photocopy
and use to
notate
your own patches
or any
modified version of
those
presented
here.

Set
up the patches
as marked,
using
the
text given
as a further
guide. There
are
only
two
rules
to
follow
in using
these
patches: all
unmarked
sliders
should
be left
fully down,
and
any
unmarked
switches
may remain
in any
position.
To
avoid con-
fusion,
return
to the basic
starting
position each
time
you begin
a new
patch. That
patch is repe-
ated
here for your
convenience.
