Pattern Playing
When
you
intend
to
write
a
complete
Track from
a
group of
Patterns, you
may want
to listen carefully
to
your
patterns either separately or in
sequence.
It
is a good idea to
write your Patterns roughly
in the
order you will use them, though
you
will often
go
back
to
re-use previous Patterns,

Playing
a
single Pattern
Operation

Push
the Pattern Mode Button © to turn
the
composer to the Pattern Playing mode.

Push the Pattern
Group Button

is
the
same one you have
been using. Then push
the
required Main
Key to select your
pattern,

The
Display now shows
the rhythm chart
of
the
selected Pattern.

Press
the
Start Key

To change
Patterns,
there is no need
to stop play-
ing.
Simply push
another Main
Key and the new
pattern will
take over
at
the
end of the bar.

Press the
Stop/Continue
Key
© to stop the
rhythm.
By
pressing
the Stop/Continue
Key
once
again, the
pattern will
start playing
from where
it
was stopped.

Block
Playing
Any block of
Patterns
may be played in sequence.
To play Patterns
1 to 5 in sequence, push Main
Keys
1 and
5
together (the
indicators
of
the
Main
Keys
1
to 5
will light
up, showing that they are
ready
to be
block-piayed),
then push the
Start Key

All the other necessary procedures
are the same
as
the
Pattern
Playing.
