Before using the V-1200HDR, ensure that its system program is at the most recent version. For information on available upgrades for the
system program, see the Roland website (http://proav.roland.com).
You can check the version of the system program by going to the ROOT MENU screen and selecting CONTROL SURFACE <SETUP> g “VERSION.”

      If the Roland V-1200HD cannot be controlled from the unit, there might be an ID conflict if multiple V-1200HDR units or computers with V-1200HD RCS are connected. To resolve this, set a unique ID value on each device via the ROOT MENU > PROCESSOR > CONTROL SURFACE SETUP > “ID”. Also, ensure the LINK indicator on the top panel is lit. If it's dark, correctly connect the unit and the V-1200HD.

      If a USB flash drive cannot be read by the Roland V-1200HD, ensure that the USB flash drive was formatted on the V-1200HD. If it wasn't, format it on the V-1200HD. Also, non-Roland USB flash drives might not be compatible. While some commonly available USB drives have been tested, full operation with all USB drives is not guaranteed, and correct operation depends on the manufacturer and type of USB flash drive.
