Select Your Desired Film Speed (ISO)
ISO Selector
When the lm cartridge is inserted, the camera will automatically
detect the lms ISO via its DX code. If there is no DX code on the lm,
the default ISO will be set at 100.
To override the detected lm speed (ISO), follow these steps:
Aer selecting ISO the Mode Selector, press the sele button to cycle
through available ISO options shown on the OLED display, and stop
when the desired ISO appears. Note that by overriding and selecting
a dierent ISO value on the Rollei 35AF than the ISO of the lm, you
will overexpose or underexpose the lm.
Example: If a roll of ISO 100 lm is loaded, and the ISO is manually
selected at 25, your pictures will be overexposed by +2EV. In this
scenario intentional overexposure will be achieved.
Example: If a roll of ISO 100 lm is loaded, and the ISO is manually
selected at 200, your pictures will be underexposed by -1EV. In this
scenario intentional underexposure will be achieved.
Overriding the ISO settings allows you to customise the exposure
according to your creative preferences.
