Select Your Desired Film Speed (ISO)
ISO Selector
When the lm cartridge is inserted, the camera will automatically
detect the lm’s ISO via its DX code. If there is no DX code on the lm,
the default ISO will be set at 100.
To override the detected lm speed (ISO), follow these steps:
Aer selecting ISO the Mode Selector, press the sele button to cycle
through available ISO options shown on the OLED display, and stop
when the desired ISO appears. Note that by overriding and selecting
a dierent ISO value on the Rollei 35AF than the ISO of the lm, you
will overexpose or underexpose the lm.
Example: If a roll of ISO 100 lm is loaded, and the ISO is manually
selected at 25, your pictures will be overexposed by +2EV. In this
scenario intentional overexposure will be achieved.
Example: If a roll of ISO 100 lm is loaded, and the ISO is manually
selected at 200, your pictures will be underexposed by -1EV. In this
scenario intentional underexposure will be achieved.
Overriding the ISO settings allows you to customise the exposure
according to your creative preferences.
