SCALE PROMPTS
The following is a list of all the scale display prompts and messages in the RC40 at the time of
production. Prompts may be added, removed or changed at any time without notice or may vary
from this list in the future. In addition, the descriptions of the various services offered by each
carrier, especially with regards to delivery times and any weight limits are accurate at the time of
production and are subject to change by the individual carriers at any time without notice. Royal
is not responsible for any changes to services offered, weight limits, delivery times or guarantees
made by the carriers.

other entry error.
Origin or Ship-From Zip Code
Weight is out of valid range – object on scale is either over 40 pounds or the scale
platform needs to be reset. Remove all weight from the scale platform. Press the
tare key. The scale should now read “0.0ozs.” and the scale can be used as normal.
Should the current shipping rate information be saved to the scale’s memory in the
displayed memory location (either M1, M2 or M3)?
