1.1. Chip card system
The <instrument> uses a chip card system which makes it possible to employ the instrument either
in a pay-per-test scheme or on customer-owner basis. Specific types of chip cards also grant
access to specific instruments settings.
A chip card must always be present in the card reader to operate the instrument.
The card reader is located on the left side of the <instrument>. Insert the chip card into the card
reader with the printed side facing forward. The chip card is correctly inserted when it appears as
shown in the picture:
