5.5 Trouble Shooting
Problem - Possible Causes and Remedies
1. Unit does not operate –
Unit may be turned off-check switches
Unit possibly unplugged
Check or change power outlet
Ensure rear door is firmly secured
Check fuse-only replace with Bussman part
#MDL-5 (Refer to Fig 6 on the next page)
Contact your representative or RxAir
2. Replace filter indicator -
Check for restrictions in front of filter
Check and/or change pre-filter
Check filter age-may need new filter
Contact your representative or RxAir
3. Replace UV bulb indicator - Check bulb installation
Replace bulb
Contact your representative or RxAir
4. Unit emits unusual noise or smell - Turn unit off
Unplug unit
Contact your representative or RxAir
