Installation information
14. Check the direction of rotation of the compressor motor.
15. Check alignment of the coupling.
All ChillPACs and LP ChillPACs are equipped with flange motors, therefore alignment will nor-
mally not be necessary.
16. Carry out the pre-start check, see subsection 5.2.1, and run the compressor in 100% capacity.
17. Check the liquid level in the evaporator. Droplets should come out of the top of the plates. The
plates should not be completely covered by liquid. Check that the suction superheat is between
0.5 and 3°K. If higher, carefully charge more R717.
18. Check the R717 liquid level again.
Note: The liquid level must never be visible in the inspection glass.
Note: * ChillPAC units may only be charged with PAO oils.
