Crankcase and crankshaft

Unscrew 6 hexagon socket head
screws from crankcase .
Note:
When dismantling the crankcase,
ho ve a l ook at the table of
crankshaft bearings on page 10.
Split
crankcase by tapping the
crankcase ha lf power takeoff
side slightly with a rubber ham-
mer.
Remove
crankcase half power
takeoff side and gasket.
Take care of dowel tubes.
Un scr ew sc r ewed nipple ( 1) and
oil drain co ck (2).
Unscrew crankcase half magneto
side from the assembly jig a nd
heat it to 100 ... 150° C (212 ...
302
° F) for removing the crank -
shaf t ( groo ved ball bearing ).
Take out c ra nkshaft .

lea n al l ports thoroughly, check
for wear and replace when ne-
cessary.
