Unscrew labyrinth ring (5).
Pull
ignition l ead with spring out
of the spark plug termina l (6),
pull off rubber sl eeve (1) and
rub ber cap (2) and screw out th e
ignition lead socket .
Unsc rew armature ba se pla te (4 )
and r emove it toget her with igni-
tion lead (not in th e case of 75 W
e
quipment) and ins ulatin g tub e
(with
lead) .
Remove Woodruff key.
Cylinder head , cylinder and
piston

Pull
off cylinder witho ut twisting
(danger of break i ng pis ton
rings).
Remo
ve cylinder fl ange gasket.
Note :
The SACHS SA 28 0 A and SA 28 0
c ylind ers can be rebored thr ee
tim es, and th ose of th e SA 29 0
and SA 340 C twic e. Use ap p ro -
priat e piston (see Spar e Part s
Li st).
When fitti ng new or replacement
