Pull Buckle & Buckle
Cover Out of Booster
Seat & Pad
Turn the booster seat over.
Pull down on buckle’s metal
retainer.
Rotate the retainer & push it
up through the shell.

Changing Buckle Position
Failure to place buckle’s metal retainer completely through
pad and child restraint can result in serious injury or death.
WARNING:
Unbuckle Harness
Press in toward top of red
button.
You must remove backless booster to change buckle position.
See Convert to Backless Booster, pages 43-46.
To reattach backless booster to main shell, see page 36,
step 13.
