4.1 MAINTENANCE & INSPECTION
This section describes basic maintenance and inspection procedures for the VG5.
Periodic Inspection
The VG5 will function longer if it is kept clean, cool and dry, and if all precautions highlighted
in this manual are observed. Periodically inspect the inverter as described in the table below to prevent
accidents and to ensure high performance with high reliability.
To prevent electrical shock, disconnect all power before servicing the inverter. Then wait at least five
minutes after the power supply is disconnected and all LEDs are extinguished.
Parts Replacement Schedule
Replace the following parts periodically, for long, safe, trouble-free operation of the VG5:
Optimum operating conditions:
Ambient temperature: 86°F yearly average
Load factor: 80% or below
Operation rate: 12 hours or less per day
