2.3 Operational Overview
2.3.1 Operation Method
Select one of two operation methods of the instrument: manual or auto.
Instrument State
The Cryo Module has one of the states shown in the table below.
State Description Remarks
Paused Temperature control is stopped.
Active Preparing Temperature control is active
(until the cooling plate temperature goes below
5ºC)
This process takes at least 2 ~ 5 minutes
Operating Temperature control is active
(after the cooling plate temperature reaches 5 ºC
or lower)
NOTE:
Each temperature indication is blinking during preparation even
when it has reached the set temperature.
Details of the Manual Operation Mode
• Cryo module
The user touches the “Cryo” button on the screen to switch the Cryo
Module state between active and paused.
