16.2.3 Underoor heating/drying of jointless oors
UsingfunctionblocksettingCO1,2->F05-1,therespectiveheatingcircuitisconguredas
anunderoorheatingcircuit.Indoingso,thecontrolleratrstonlylimitsthevaluerangesof
theheatingcharacteristicgradientandthemaximumowtemperatureinPA1,2parameter
levels:
− Value range of the gradient: 0.2 to 1.0
− Valuerangeofthemaximumowtemperature:5to50°C
Furthermore,itispossibletosetaBoostbetween0.0to50.0°C,whichisadditionallytaken
intoaccountwhenthereisaheatdemandfortheunderoorheatingcircuitofanupstream
control circuit. The Drying of jointless oors function can be activated afterwards. The func-
tion block parameters (starting with the 'Start temperature') determine the drying process: the
rstheatingupphasestartsattheentered'Starttemperature',whichhasaowtemperature
of25°Cinitsdefaultsetting.Thestarttemperatureisheldconstantforthedaysenteredin
'Hold(days)'.Afterwards,thistemperatureisraisedbythevalueenteredin'Temp.rise/day'
within24hours,i.e.thedefaultsettingcausestheowtemperaturesetpointtoriseto30°C
24 hours after the holding phase. If the 'Maximum temperature' is reached, it is kept constant
forthenumberofdaysenteredin'Max.temperaturesustainingtime'.The'Temp.reduction/
day'parameterdeterminesthetemperaturereductiondownwards.Ifthe'Temp.reduction/
day' is set to 0, the temperature maintaining phase moves directly to automatic mode. If the
functionblockparameter'Starttemperature'issetto25°Cand'Temp.rise/day'to0.0°C,
thedryingfunctionsrunsasspeciedinPart4ofDINEN1264:thedryingofjointlessoors
functionstartswithaowtemperatureof25°C,whichiskeptconstantforthreedays.After-
wards, the controller switches to the maximum adjusted temperature. The further process re-
mainsunchanged.Thedryingofjointlessoorsfunctionisactivatedbychangingthedefault
setting 'STOP' to 'START' (display:
START). The restarting phases 'START temperature build-
up phase' (display:
START), 'START maximum temperature hold phase' (display:
START)
and 'START temperature reduction phase' (reading:
START) can be selected to continue
an interrupted drying process. The course of the drying process can be monitored in the op-
