6. Enter the IP address or URL of the Modbus TCP gateway or SAM HOME gateway in the
'IP-Adr./URL'eld.
7. If necessary, click [Erweitert] (advanced) to change the TCP port (default: 502).
The Baud rate does not need to be changed.
8. Check the 'St-Adr.' check box and enter the Modbus station address of the controller to
beupdatedintheinputeldnexttothebox(Modbusstationaddress=1.Parameterin
PA6).
9. Do not change any other settings. Click [Updaten] (update).
The update runs fully automatically. It takes around three minutes for the green progress in
thebootmanagertoreach100%.Themessage'Updatewurdeerfolgreichdurchgeführt'
(update completed) appears. The controller restarts.
Î If an update could not be completed properly (e.g. because the connection was interrupt-
ed during the update), click [Abbruch] (cancel), uncheck the 'Stationadressen-Modus'
(station address mode) box and click [Updaten] (update) to restart the procedure.
It is not possible to restart the update process, if another controller exists in the network,
which is in the boot mode after a failed update.

− Error messages that appear
− All the data settings that have been performed according to these instructions
− All the data settings made in the boot manager
