Section 10: Web
This section outlines the web features available on your phone.
Accessing the Web
Your phone is equipped with a browser that provides wireless connectivity and access to the Web using your
phone.
1. In Idle mode, press the Browser soft key. You can also press ➔ Browser or press the
Multitasking key and select the Browser option.
You connect to the network and the web homepage loads.
Entering Text in the Web
While you are navigating the web you often need to enter text, such as a URL. You can enter alphanumeric
characters by using your phone’s keypad. For more information, refer to “Entering Text” on page 32.
Selecting and Using Menu Options
Various menus are available when you are using the web to navigate the Wireless Web.
The following options are available:
Open
The Open option lets you open the webpage that you have selected.
Navigate
The Navigate option lets you go backward, reload a page, go to the homepage, and display the web page on
full screen.
Standard View
This option displays the web page in either Standard View or Smart-width view.
View Bookmarks
This option lets you select a web page that has been bookmarked previously.
