1. Cause of malfunction
1) Disconnection or loose connection of sensor wire
2) Faulty sensor itself
3) Problematic outdoor unit PBA
2. Check procedure
After detaching the
ass’y control out cover, detach the
out/disch connector from the PBA
Pull out power cords for the indoor unit
and the outdoor unit
Yes
Measure resistance on both
ends of out pin using a test device
Replace faulty or broken sensor itself
No
Is the resistance reading in the range of
11k~12k?
Yes
Replace outdoor unit PBA
(A new EEPROM ic must be inserted)
S equipment claims must be made at a service center for the EEPROM ic.
