1. Cause of malfunction
1) Sensor detached from sensor holder
2) Sensor detached from outdoor unit PBA connector
3) Faulty sensor itself
4) Problematic outdoor unit PBA
2. Check procedure
1) Check to see if temperature sensor is attached properly to the sensor holder
2) Check to see if temperature sensor is connected properly to the outdoor unit PBA connector
