Refrigerant pipe installation
Installing the branch joints
Branch joints must be installed ‘horizontally’ or ‘vertically’.
Horizontal installation
Vertical installation
t For A~J type branch joints : Connect the branch joint to the connection pipe with the provided reducer.
t For K~Z type branch joints : Cut the connection part of the branch joint or the provided socket, according to the
diameter of the connection pipe, before connecting them.
10mm~15mm (0.39~0.59 inch)
NOTE
t Install the branch joint within ±15° of the horizon or vertical line.
t Make sure that the pipe is not bent at where it is connected to the branch joint.
t Keep a minimum straight line distance of 500mm (20 inch) or more before connecting branch joint.
