ACCESSORIES
1. Roller ring, to be placed in the center of the oven.
Purpose: The roller ring supports the turntable.
2. Turntable, to be placed on the roller ring with the
center fitting on to the coupler.
Purpose: The turntable serves as the main
cooking surface; it can be easily
removed for cleaning.
SETTING UP YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN
1. Place the oven on a flat, sturdy surface and plug the
cord into a grounded outlet. once plugged in, the
display on your oven will show:
Make sure there is adequate ventilation for your
oven by leaving at least four inches of space behind,
above, and to the side of the oven.
2. Open the oven door by pulling on the handle.
3. Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth.
4. Place the pre-assembled ring in the indentation in
the center of the oven.
5. Place the glass tray on top of the ring so that the
three glass tabs in the center of the tray fit securely
into the tabs on the floor of the oven.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT OR HAVE A
PROBLEM
Becomingfamiliarwithanewappliancealwaystakesalittletime.Ifyou
have any of the problems listed below, try the solutions given. They may
save you the time and inconvenience of an unnecessary service call.
The following are normal occurrences.
• Condensation inside the oven
• Airowaroundthedoorandoutercasing
• Lightreectionaroundthedoorandoutercasing
• Steamescapingfromaroundthedoororvents
The food is not cooked at all.
• Have you set the timer correctly?
• Isthedoorclosed?
• Haveyouoverloadedtheelectriccircuitandcausedafusetoblowora
breaker to be triggered.
The food is either overcooked or undercooked.
• Was the appropriate cooking length set for the type of food?
• Wasanappropriatepowerlevelchosen?
Sparking and cracking occur inside the oven (arcing).
• Have you used a dish with metal trimmings?
• Haveyouleftaforkorothermetalutensilinsidetheoven?
• Isaluminumfoiltooclosetotheinsidewalls?
The oven causes interference with radios or televisions.
• Slight interference may be observed on televisions or radios when the
oven is operating. This is normal.
• Solution: Install the oven away from televisions, radios and aerials.
• If interference is detected by the oven’s microprocessor, the display may
be reset.
• Solution: Disconnect the power plug and reconnect it. Reset the
time.
If the above guidelines do not enable you to solve the problem, contact
your local dealer or SAMSUNG after-sales servic.
