What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a technology that enables Bluetooth
compliant devices to interconnect easily with each
other using a short wireless connection.
• A Bluetoothdevicemaycausenoiseor malfunction,
dependingonusage,if:
- A partofyourbodyisincontactwiththereceiving/
transmittingsystemofthe Buetoothdeviceorthe Hi-Fi
Component.
- It issubjecttoelectricalvariationfromobstructions
causedbyawall,corner,orofficepartitioning.
- it isexposedto electricalinterferencefromsame
frequency-banddevicesincludingmedicalequipment,
microwaveovens,andwirelessLANs.
° Pairthe Hi-FiComponentwiththeBuetoothdevicewhile
theyaredosetogether.
• ThegreaterthedistancebetweentheHi-FiComponentand
the BBetoothdevice,theworsethequality.Ifthedistance
exceedstheBluetoothoperationalrangetheconnectionis
lost.
• Inpoorreception-sensitivityareas,the BBetoothconnection
maynotworkproperly.
• TheBBetoothconnectiononlyworkswhentheBBetooth
deviceisclosetotheset.Theconnectionwillbe
automaticallycutoffiftheBluetoothdeviceisoutofrange.

To connect the Hi-Fi Component to a
Bluetooth device
Before you begin, confirm that your Bluetooth
device supports the Bluetooth-compliant stereo
headset function.
1. PresstheCD/Bluetooth buttonofthe Hi-FiComponent
todisplaythe BLUETOOTHmessage.
• YouwillseeWAITforafewsecondsandthenREADY
onthefrontdisplayofthe Hi-FiComponent.
2. Selectthe Bluetoothmenuon the Bluetoothdeviceyou
wanttoconnect.(Referto the Bluetoothdevice'suser
manual.)
3. Selectthe Stereoheadsetmenuonthe Bluetoothdevice.
• Youwillseea listof scanneddevices.
4. Select"[Samsung]HI-FIXXXXXX"fromthelist.
• Whentheproductisconnectedto the BBetooth
device,itwilldisplayCONNECTED-, BLUETOOTH
onthefrontdisplay.
