Troubleshooting
Refer to the chart below when this product does not function properly. If the problem you are
experiencing is not listed below or if the instruction below does not help, turn off the product,
disconnect the power cord, and contact the nearest authorized dealer or Samsung Electronics Service
Center.

Playback does not start
immediately when the
Play/Pause button is pressed.
Sound is not produced.
The remote control does not
work.
• The product is not working.
(Example: The power goes out or
the front panel key doesn't work
or you hear a strange noise.)
• The product is not working
normally.
Isthe power cord plugged securelyinto the outlet?
• Turn off the power and then turn it back on.
• Areyou usinga deformed disc or a disc with scratches on the surface?
• Wipe the disc clean.
• Nosound is heardduring fast playback, slow playback, and step
motion playback.
Arethe speakers connected properly? Isthe speaker setup correctly
customized?
• Isthe disc severelydamaged?
• Isthe remote control being operated within its operational angle and
distance range?
• Arethe batteries drained?
• Run the resetfunction. With the "NO DISC"messageon the displayof
the product and no disc inthe disc slot, pressand holdthe STOP (l)
button on the product for morethan 5 seconds.
Usingthe RESETfunction will erase allstored settings.
Do not use this unlessnecessary.
Can't receive radio broadcast. • Is the antenna connected properly?
• if the antenna's inputsignal isweak, installan externalFM antennain an
areawith good reception.
Turn off automatically after • Check the power in use iswithin the rangeof the powerwhich specified
displaying "PROTECT" on the rearlabel of the product.
• if "VoltageSelector" ison the rear panel,check the power is samewith
the voltage that you set manually.
