4.4.2 SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply)
It is the power source for the whole system. It is an independent module, so it is possible to use for com-
mon use. It is mounted at the bottom of the set.
It is consisted of the SMPS part, which supplies the DC power for driving the system, and the AC heater
control part, which supplies the power to fuser. SMPS has four outputting channels (+5V, +12V, +12Vand
+24Vs).
There are three kinds of power, 120V exclusive (America), 220V exclusive (Europe), and 220V for china
(nations with instable power supply).
