Detergent drawer guidelines
The automatic dispenser models has two compartments for auto-dispensing. See below for details:
A. Auto detergent compartment:
Use liquid detergent only.
B. Auto softener compartment:
Use fabric softener only.
C. Bleach compartment: Add bleach as instructed by
the manufacturer.
NOTE
Do not pour color-safe bleach into the bleach
compartment.
NOTE
If you need to put detergent (liquid, powder, or pellet)
manually, put it directly into the tub.
• If you use powder detergent, put detergent into the
tub before putting your laundry.
CAUTION
• The Softener or Detergent button's LED blinks when the detergent or softener level is low.
• Do not add an excessive amount of detergent. This may affect the washing results adversely.
• Do not use any cleaning agents for cleaning the drum. Chemical residue in the drum deteriorates the
washing performance.
• Do not use the following types of detergent in the drawer.
- Tablet, capsule, ball, or net types.
• Do not use gel-type or viscous detergent/softener in the detergent drawer as they may not flow well.
- Read the detergent/softener manufacturer's instructions before using them in the washer.
