Cleaning the detergent drawer
To prevent the detergent residue buildup in the detergent drawer, clean the detergent/softener
compartments once or twice a month, and whenever you refill or change the detergent or softener.
CAUTION
• Make sure to turn off the washer and unplug the power cord before cleaning.
• If you are not going to use the washer for a long time, empty the detergent/softener compartments and
clean them thoroughly.
• While cleaning, do not carry individually-removed compartments. Transport the compartments in
the detergent drawer to prevent the contents from spilling. Put the compartments back in place after
cleaning.
1. Fully pull out the detergent drawer.
To remove, pull the detergent drawer while pushing
the ends of each side in.
2. Remove the tops of both compartments using the
pull tabs located on the back of the lid, then clean
inside the compartments under warm running water
with a soft brush.
- Wipe all components with a dry towel or cloth
after cleaning.
